Waffle Cones

These waffle cones are just delicious and perfect for summer! The trick to getting them perfect is to wait until they are golden, and roll them quickly. Let us know how you go!

  • Batter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 85 grams butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • To serve
  • Ice cream


  1. Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale
  2. Sift in the flour and add remaining ingredients. Mix well
  3. Heat waffle cone maker on medium and wait until green light turns off
  4. Spoon 1/4 cup mixture into the centre of the hot waffle plate. Close lid gently and let cook until golden brown (about 3-4 min)
  5. Carefully remove hot waffle cone with a spatula and roll quickly using cone roller
  6. Allow to cool completely before filling
