Orange Sky is the world’s first free mobile laundry and shower service for people doing it tough. Its mission is to help create a safe, positive and supportive environment for people experiencing homelessness who are often ignored or feel disconnected from the community.

How you can support?

Simply donate at checkout, in-store (Te Rapa) between 6th-9th July!

Our donations will help provide loads more laundry, showers and genuine conversations, as well as helping to keep Orange Sky’s mobile hybrid laundry and shower vans on the road.

Together, we can help Orange Sky support more Kiwis in need across Aotearoa.

About Orange Sky

Orange Sky launched its first New Zealand service in 2018 with vans ‘Hugo’ in Auckland and ‘Hudson’ in Wellington. Today, it operates five services across Aotearoa - with two vans in Auckland and one in Wellington, Hamilton and Christchurch.

Each week, our amazing volunteers give their time to help positively connect some of the 41,600 New Zealanders experiencing homelessness.

Since launching in New Zealand, Orange Sky has operated more than 3,200 shifts, provided more than 16,000 loads of laundry and 8,800 showers, and engaged in over 25,000 hours of genuine non-judgmental conversation and connection with people who use the service.
