This 4 pack colour drum unit covers up to 15,000 pages at 5% coverage. It's suitable for use with Brother HL3170CDW, HL3150CDN, MFC9140CDN and MFC9340CDW printers. Brother laser printers require both a drum unit and a toner cartridge. The toner cartridge contains powder (toner) used for creating letters and images. The drum unit transfers the toner to the paper. You need to replace the drum unit when the printer displays the “replace drum” error message.
